Well, it started switching to reversing cam again

An hour and a half stripping the dash has found the culprit, the wireless receiver is faulty. Temp hard wired to camera and no issue at all on either OS (4.2 & 4.4).

More than a little unchuffed as the whole set up is less than a 7 months old

At least the issue was found, wireless kist can be found cheap on ebay.

When you have a minute can you check on your HU......Go to factory settings other...put a check mark in wheel3 and apply then turn your volume knob you will see what happens..don`t forget to uncheck and apply before you come out of there.
....... I had put check marks in front camera,wheel3 and rudder the other day to see if they do anything, well I guess I found out what wheel3 does

Anyone who gets this problem then go and check your setting and make sure that wheel3 is unchecked.....wonder what it`s for????

It sure is strange, but as errr, I think it was Klarzy, it might be for some cars with a thumb wheel on steering wheel.
At least we know how to correct it if some other members come accross the fault.

I have figured out the button lights (in a way) if you put the unit in sleep mode (press the power button) the lights are as they should be off with headlights off on with headlights on.

That is the only way they work as they should.

I's installed the Android 4.4.4 update, but the Navall2 doesn't seem to respond to the steering wheel controls.

I've also fitted a usb dongle. Any ideas how I can get this to work with the phone app please?

Were they working before you did the update?

If so go into settings/steering wheel controls and re program them from there

Please note that SWC has nothing to do with Android it is part of the hardware so to speak. However, setting the buttons to different functions are controlled by an Android app (Settings). So if SWC does not work it is possibly because you have not assigned the keys yet.

Go to Settings/SWC and press the relevant function on the screen, then press the corresponding SWC button and you should be in business.

I am still having zero joy with the DTV, have bought the recommended 12v boosted aerial from Sean, tried every base setting, scanned every channel and nowt...

I do not know where to go next, I have a 75% signal strength with the aerial plugged in or not and zero quality no matter where I place the aerial.

HELP !!
