Good morning everybody, What a wild night, the wind has been roaring down the chimney in the bedroom fireplace all night keeping me awake, it's still blowing strong but at least the rain has stopped.

Good morning Derek, almost a disaster here! I was plating up my breakfast when a slice of black pudding slipped off the spatula into the washing up water, I rescued it wiped it down & it was good to go.

Well saved Ian, the wind has dropped quite a bit here now but still has a bite to it

The wind hasn't stopped here after last night's Offal stew and sprouts The Missus kicked me out of bed in the early hours and told me to sleep in the spare bedroom. Yep you guessed it I'm in the doghouse

Well - I think I'm finally shrugging off the "bah humbug" phase and entering the "yo ho ho" phase

So whilst I'm feeling festive (is that an arrestable offence?) here's wishing everyone in the OC - but especially my friends and aquaintances in the LCOZ - a Very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous, Peaceful and Healthy New Year

I know that many of you out there have suffered losses this year, and close to Christmas these can be particularly hard to bear (I speak from experience) - but I hope that the goodwill from this Forum, and the presence of other members of your family over the festive period, will provide a little solace and allow you look to the future with renewed hope.

Rod/Rodders/Reworht
(and various other names which would be weeded out by the swear filter)

I'm home from work now and looking forward to a few days off in the company of family and friends

Of course will be keeping up with all the shenanigans that us friends in the lcoz get up too as well .

I wish all the warmest of thoughts and wishes for Christmas and that the New Year can at last spread a little cheer to one and all..
