G'day inmates - how are you all?

Frost has gone off here - no sun, but a biting cold wind (again).
I'm getting treated on Saturday for my birthday - son has got tickets to Middlesbrough v. Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup - hope it warms up a bit, as Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium isn't one of the warmest in the UK

Good afternoon Derek and Lilian. We had a walk along the road instead of going through the forest and came across the aftermath of a road accident. The driver rolled the car twice, wrapping it round a tree. His arm had to be amputated. No other car was involved and his passenger escaped unhurt. The driver took the car from his employer, a neighbour without permission, no insurance and he did not know how to drive. It's haunting that his arm had to be amputated. Bizarre as we live in a private road, a single lane which is normally very quiet. The driver was not drunk and was not on drugs, he simply drove not knowing how to drive, far too fast.
