I dont know if you have read recently we had a new kitchen fitted, never one for being sentimental, I thought this time I would surpass myself and get her something for Valentines Day.
New Dish Cloths.
New Tea Towels.
A Chopping Board.
And a New Toaster.

She really is an ungrateful person, didn,t even say thank you.

Good morning everyone, It's dry mild morning here & there was a very nice chorus of bird songs going on at dawn.

Here too - nice change from the recent cold mornings - all they do is encourage me to stay under the duvet.
Friends of ours are currently in Brisbane, visiting their daughter and her family - apparently its between 37 & 39 degrees out there

I did buy my missus her own screwdriver, pair of plyers, tape measure (all in tasteful pink) - oh, and a small hammer too.
Problem is, I can't afford to send her on the training course for how to use them

I do have them at home, but never use them as they can make you feel groggy the next day and it's so easy to get hooked.

Thanks mate
I couldn't get to sleep just kept thinking about recent problems at home, and couldn't switch off, I eventually got off about 6am and managed a few hours now I feel knackered. It's going to be a long day 😮

Anyway, on a more serious note I have just had mash, pork sausages and peas. I'm feeling quite sleepy now, it must be an age thing

Good evening Derek, the forecast for the uk said it was in double figures today. Maybe a good sign for something better to come your way. Jessica had a dip this afternoon to cool off and later on I practiced being an old lifeguard
