Good evening everybody, I've had a feet up day of watching films & I bought a good Technics stereo system off gumtree with a low offer which he accepted it was only a mile away from me so I went to collect it straightaway....It works a treat & has a great tone, why is the text suddenly in italic! I dunno what I've pressed! lol.

Pea risotto for tea which sounds boring but was rather tasty with chicken legs

A great result for England against the Jock's. I had an hour out on the motorbike this afternoon, came home and had a few beer's, life is good.

I missed it We were driving back from the coast. A hot drive yesterday, 37C through the countryside and 32C coming into Nairobi. I was pulled over at police and army road blocks. One just checked the car is insured and waived me on. The other was army and they wanted to give me a lecture, see inside the boot and play the bribe game. Yikes!

The soldier asked to step out of our 4x4 and open the back door. He looked inside, then asked me ....

Do you know why you have been stopped?

I said... "security"

He said ... when you approach a road block, you should be doing 30 and you were doing 60. BS I thought.

He then placed his arm around my shoulder and told me...."You are a very old man and you are like my dad"

"You are a very wise man if you carry a first-aid box.

You are a very wise man if you carry 2 hazard triangles.

You are a very wise man if you carry a tow rope.

You are a very wise man if you do exactly what I say....

Donate 1000 KES to the road safety fund, right now in my hand! about £8
(the truck driver in front of me had his licence confiscated).

That was the hit, a bribe. After that I didn't get stopped again and carried on with the drive, but missed the game

Is he the same Policeman that nicked a steam roller for having 3 bald tyres?

LOL ....

Good morning Steve Yes, I had some of Jessica's spending money left over.
I did feel for truck driver not having his bribe and having his licence removed. It's a game for the motorists. They lose and the coppers win
