Morning, dry but dull and cool here. Got dry rot setting in! I was in the garden shed yesterday, nearly fell over Pops as I came out, jarred my left knee. Now, if I bend the knee the wrong way, feels like somebody is sticking a knife in it

LOL Ninja cat, there are pigeons regular drinking water out of the conservatory guttering & she runs full pelt & leaps up the blinds to get at them, funny as heck.

Good afternoon Dawn and Julien, we are all doing okay. We are holding a memorial celebration/service for Jessica's mum at the house on Saturday pm with family and friends flying in from around the globe. We have had to tidy up and bring in outside catering and live music etc and I had to put together a slide show of Julianne's life in pictures. Everything is now ready. We are having lots of torrential rain, badly needed and it has greened everything up. The flowers and borders are beautiful

I have not heard of Roverfest? Pray do tell

Cats are fascinating to watch, so inquisitive and mischievous Ian. We have a couple of farm cats who live the outside life, of hunting and eating the rats, mice, frogs, lizards and birds. The cats come to the kitchen for other treats. We used to have a problem of squirrels scratching around in the roof and the rats eating the cow feed. The cats saw them off for good. I watched one of the cats yesterday dig through the dirt to get to a mole. Such a resourceful and clever pussy. The dogs here are wary of the cats and leave them well alone
