There is a bit of a nip in the air Freddie.

Kids back to school soon, means the Norfolk Broads become peaceful again

Morning men (I did check that none of the ladies were on-line before I typed that ). Nice bright start to the day - but forecast for potential heavy showers this afternoon. We had one of those yesterday afternoon - enormous hailstones and a torrential downpour for half an hour - I got drenched just legging it from the garage to the house

Shopping day - again - but not too much needed today, as we're away in the caravan on Monday for 8 nights, so hopefully we'll be eating out more whilst we're away.

Good morning Rod, its all go for you again. What a life it is for retirees Where are you off to for your next safari?

I lost a lens cap at Alexandra Palace taking this photo and now I am feeling better, I am going to try and retrace my steps to find it. Not so hopeful but I would like another bash at the photo, as I am not very happy with it.

Good morning all,

Derek I hope your feeling better, if your are reading this. I know you have your tablet with you in hospital and the chill out lounge is a favourite haunt Lilian and yourself are in our thoughts.

Morning Phil (well, it's afternoon now, but what the 'eck!). We're off on Monday to here - not far from home, but a very quiet sounding site, and of course, all the kids will be back at school on Monday, so it'll probably be old fogies (like us!) only
We've booked 8 nights, so back on Tuesday 12th - then Angela and my sister are off on a bus trip to Bury Market the following weekend, so I get to be my own boss for a couple of days - cue a few takeaways I think

That's a cracking photo - it's such an unusual sight for me to see so many skyscrapers, as we have virtually none left around the area - most have been demolished, although a couple have survived as student accommodation.

Good afternoon John, lets hope they have a fun holiday, its nice and and hot for them. I can understand your anxiety, but if there is a problem, they can get a flight off the island and back home fairly easily.
