Morning all, It's been raining for most of the night & still coming down, It's a tad warmer today though.


Thanks for all the advice Steve, Steve, Jeff & Phil. I'm not that good at getting my ailments sorted out I rang the reception yesterday afternoon to get a sooner appointment & I've got one for the 15th March. Yes I think it's time to find another doctor, Our daughter has just left that practice for another doctor, I'll see how she gets on with that practice.



The trouble is our new clinic which had five doctors practices in there is more or less the same with people being told to go to A+E. The place is almost always deserted except for the pharmacy in there.



The district nurse do the bulk of the work in there.

Lady Emma is a long way from our flat in Bristol so we would love to stay overnight on your boat when the time comes if offered Jessica said she is up for. Is it ok to swim in the marina or somewhere else on the broads?

Hopefully the mattress and bedding will be dry by then after my little mistake of jet washing the inside as well as outside 🤣

I wouldn't advise swimming in the Marina with boats and propellers everywhere.
However, I have already found a marvellous spot at a place called Stone Point. It's a lovely spot to drop the anchor and gives you pretty much a private beach as there is no road access to it. Just by boat or a rather long walk from the Naze.

It's only 10 minutes from the Marina in the boat. Remember, I have a bathing platform and swim ladder on the stern of Lady Emma so easy to get off and on the boat from swimming

I'll pop onto Google images and see if I can pull some images of Stone Point off for you

It's chucking it down here so todays job is now going to be tomorrow.

I'm going to do a bit more baking me thinks.

I'm thinking Apple turnovers and either a blueberry or lemon drizzle cake

cold bug! Worst is the cough, not during the day but at night, lying down sets it off, dry barking cough that keeps me awake.

On the baking front, I've got all the makings for another batch of pandesal, all the makings except the enthusiasm!

In other news.....It's been announced that the Red Arrows will not be displaying at this years Clacton Air Show as they will be touring Canada. Just about typical when I intend to view the Air Show from Lady Emma at anchor off Clacton Seafront.

With nine display pilots available again for this year they will be able to fly in Diamond Nine formation which they last did in 2021. It is the 60th/Diamond anniversary of the team so the timing of a return to flying Diamond Nine I suspect will not have happened by chance. The second half of August they deploy to Canada on a five-week trip to help mark the centennial of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The good news is that they will be displaying in London.

The bad news for UK fans is ... that is London in Ontario.
