Good morning all, good morning Jeff,

What is the wattage on the Ninja, is it low power? Can it run on a solar inverter?

This morning at 07:00 it was loud music across the valley, some people have no clue or consideration. Now it’s the bongo drums.

We are going out for breakfast where the food is safe to eat and it’s nicely presented, a little treat,

Forecast 29C and sunny, so will be wearing a hat.

What’s everyone up to?

St. Patrick's Day celebrations no doubt! How does the shamrock grow over there? Slainte. Raining here and chilly today!

Morning all, Back to the rain again.

What a feast Jeff, Superb Sir.
I tried a slice of that wholemeal corned beef pie last night & I must say it's really good, I think I'll be using wholemeal flour a lot more from now on.

Morning Ian and all.

Glad the pie was a success. I haven't yet tried making puff pastry with wholemeal. It's such a faff to prepare that I use the ready rolled stuff.

If I'm baking something that needs to be a little 'lighter' so to speak I will use a half and half combination of white flour and wholemeal. Still better for blood sugar control and carb counting

Morning Phil,

Here is a link to our Flexdrawer Ninja

https://ninjakitchen.co.uk/product/n...0uk-zidAF500UK

Looking at the specifications it is 2470watts. Obviously how much power it draws is dependent on what temperature you are cooking at. It goes right up to 240c on its MAX CRISP setting.

So long as your solar inverter can cope with those loads and it is a regulated output then it should be fine

I'm going to pop and see Mum this morning. Ros and I were going to go to the boat but the weather forecast isn't great for today. I'm going tomorrow instead.
This afternoon I'll be watching the Liverpool v Man U F.A Cup quarter final game.

Evening all, It's been a day of showers today, I sgot some seedlings re-potted into bigger pots & sharpened my knives & cleaver this afternoon, I ended up with two cuts They're sharp now though

Yum sausage rolls look tasty Jeff I've got some pork mince & shop bought puff pastry in the freezer ready to make a batch of them.

We're having a late tea tonight waiting for our daughter to come home as I'm making a steak strips stir-fry with rice. It's only good if everyone is there & it's eaten straight away otherwise it goes soggy

Morning all,

The sun is out and there is just a gentle breeze. Looks like a nice day to go boating

Morning all, It's an overcast day here. Off to get my second shingles jab at the local clinic shortly.
