Possibly Julien it's certainly worth banking as a potential for the future.

Had a great day BUT
Do not think they made much effort celebrating 50 years of the V8. was only a Rover gathering. Not even a trophy for best V8 engine bay.

My brother & i had a fantastic time - it was wonderful seeing the whole area pretty much full of Rovers. I wonder if this will happen again in the near future - i know this was a celebration of the V8 but with the amount of vehicles that arrived it proves there is the interest there to support another event.
Well done to all involved in arranging this event. Steve. |

Did the whole weekend & had a great time. Met one of the 75 engine bay designers, and listened to some wonderful tales.
Was parked next to Ian & Lynette Duxbury - lovely couple & special thanks Lynette for the sunblock as I don't think my poor skin could take any more frying than i'd given it at Gaydon on the Saturday lol. Bought a rather nice wooden steering wheel from Gary - couldn't remember his user name but drove a copperleaf 75 with roofbox on, big thanks mate. Sat in reebs rather nice 75 - loved the green interior not to mention the helpful info regarding mods. Above all it was brilliant seeing all the Rovers - not just the 75's & meeting some of the other members. The only gripe i have is that there weren't as many traders as I would have liked. But above all a great weekend! |

No problemo, Phil. I can only use one wood steering wheel at a time.
Nice to meet you.
