Trouble is Manchester is 200 miles North of me, so a 410 mile trip each way

I thought I'd suggested this already, but would it be worth removing and posting the ECU for a diagnostic check? Could take away the uncertainty for anyone who would otherwise want an auto tourer - which is normally quite desirable, I'd have thought?

Get the ECU to Brian for a check out.... I have a diesel sitting there if it needs anything electrical sure we can sort it for you.
