Love the colour! Guess it's like any car, worth what someone will give you for it. . A rare car. I paid £5k for mine last May but have had to spend a small fortune since.

Miffed at the expense and will obviously never get anywhere near in the future but love it to bits. Feel proud to own it and always makes me feel better (now she's running right!)

Hi, I will have to ask if he minds me mentioning his name, but I can say he was the personal director in 2001, cheers Colin.

Hi Colin,
a fantastic looking car. It's a pity you have to sell.

Regarding your seats, were they the two tone leather seats originally that have been refurbished, or did you have new covers (made and) fitted? If the latter, are they the MGR parts or after market/custom made & who did it for you?

Regards,
Kearton

Hi Kearton,
I am sorry to be selling but I have no room for it anymore, my wife has recently had a new company car which we are using as the family vehicle my daughter has a car and my son is learning to drive and also wants a car. The ZT is sitting in the garage only coming out at weekends when the sun is shining which is a shame because it is a great car to drive and you never get fed up of people's reaction to it.

The original seats were alacantra trimmed with leather. The new seats were fitted recently by a local company Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers who I think sourced the material from Germany and I have to say did a fantastic job, regards Colin.

Hi,
Thanks for the invite and the link to the Auto trader, but I will go to the RAF Cosford meet on the 19th April which is only 35 miles from me.
regards
Colin.

Looks gorgeous by the way. Good luck with the sale, fancy a swap?!!
The car was registered in July 2001. Thanks but no thanks to the offer of a swap I personally think Typhoon was and still is the best colour produced.
regards
Colin.

IMHO it was the likes of the former owner of your car and the other director's that brought Longbridge to its knee's, they where never happy with a STD production car, Kevin Howe had a fully loaded SV built to his wishes and another had a MK1 ZTT 260 which almost over night became a MK2 with a Silk Shot paint job while the girls and boys on the shopfloor got shafted by them.

Doylo i would love to ask your friend how much money he walked out of 'Q' Gate with in his back pocket.

Not sure your comment has a lot of bearing on the thread Tootall, but to answer your question, he probably got more than you.

Sorry to change the subject a bit guys but could either of you give me any advice on sorting chips and scratches on Typhoon. Have a few to many on mine and it really spoils it for me. Thanks.

Ben.
