Just to check, does the bleedscrew sit at that height/position during the bleed cycle? Car currently a bit stripped, however it looks like it would be higher than the expansion tank. will coolant still flow from there during bleeding if so. Prompt advice appreciated as hoping to resolve tonight! Doubtless i'm missing something obvious here? cheers chris |

however, the photo seems to show it strapped near the top of the battery box which is higher! - hence my confusion! Should the bleed screw/hose in fact hang lower - somewhere nearer the height of the bottom of the battery box. then the expansion tank in its mounting position would be slightly higher. my hose hangs loose so other than the photo on this thread i have no idea where it should sit. any guidance appreciated. cheers. |

The bleed hose wasn't tied up originally. Simple hydraulics dictate that the header level be the highest point. Providing your bleed screw sits lower than the coolant surface in the tank, it will bleed just fine.

Does anyone have a photo, or able to take a photo of where the long hose with the bleed screw should sit?
Or does the long hose just curl around and rest wherever it naturally sits. With mine that puts the bleed screw upside down - which took me ages to find. sorry for the daft questions - new to ZT's so still finding my way around. Thanks in advance Chris |

Morning all,
Just found out that there is an inline stat fitted. Is there anything in the bleeding or filling process that I need to do differently? Only about 4litres of coolant came out dropping just the bottom hose. Cheers |
