Back for sale!
Now that Cossiedunc replaced the clutch and slave with Borg & Beck stuff, she runs and drives like a good 'un.
Safe to say that all the usual gremlins have been ironed out and she's now well fit for purpose. Price at top of the post.

What is the selling price as initially £2700 then a post says you have dropped the price.
I have exactly the same; '04, Seafrost etc but as a CDi the two would look good at a Meet!- however I would have to convince the "management" Kind regards Colin |

Hi, the price was originally £3200 but I dropped it to £2700 (less without the head unit) for club members. Here's the eBay ad.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=141386471074 I'd far rather sell to a club member as I've done a lot of work on this and absolutely cherised it but my own 'management' is keen for me to sell at least one of my cars as our drive is getting rather full. Since I'm working on and won't part with my lovely ZT-T, that's what I'm going to concentrate my time and money on. Both cars are great, but the ZT just does it for me.

Hello...this thing on? *taps screen and is met with whistling feedback*
Well, I must say, this car is driving like a dream. If it doesn't sell in a week, then I'm keeping!! Fair warning...

Put six hundred miles on her this weekend, plus a trip to Aberdeen and back today. Never put a foot wrong. I think I'm probably going to keep her and perhaps selling her was a bad idea anyway. Might part with the almost-finished ZT-T, though?
All the same, just curious why no interest in my lovely, blue 75 Tourer? Any ideas? Frank thoughts welcome. Especially from people named Frank.

Frank is not around I'm afraid, please don't be cross, but nobody else is saying it...
Despite being a well sorted and very tidy car I think you may well be keeping this one The reality is that it is a high mileage, petrol hungry V6. As you say in your ebay ad, it is under rated by most so your potential audience is reduced already. And I am sorry to say it is reduced further by your asking price Here is a 75 contemporary se v6 2004 http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...BAY-GB&alt=web While the car is a saloon, it is for sale from what looks like a dealer, has half the mileage of yours and is £1k cheaper and is still not selling. It is great that you have had the belts and clutch done, but if I was you, keep it and get some value out of the money you have put into it. Plus the 75 is much more pleasant to be in than those yobish ZT's anyway |
