thanks for all the input people, ive not tryed the o rings yet but theres no sign of oil around headlight etc, and blacknwhite the turbo is boosting up, as you can hear it when you let off the pressure coming back up through air intake as there is no air box on car at the min will try the o rings, if it isnt that then i will pay a subscription and advertise the car,

You don't actually need to buy new ones. Just take the pipe off the top of the intercooler and see what condition they are in. The bottom one usually splits and falls off and the second is usually 10mm bigger than it should be, if they are shot. If they are both intact, look ok and are in place, just reinsert the pipe cos it ain't them. Cost - nowt. If you drop the coolant reservoir it's easier to remove/refit.

Deeks. yes it the EGR feed pipe, it should swell up when you rev.

My HP pump was working but only putting out about 40 psi (or whatever) but the car need a lot more than that to run properly. In my case the car started after turning over enough times to get the pressure up, then ran OK untill I gave it some welly, then it just died on me coz the pressure dropped.. Replaced the HP and it's been fine ever since..

Try to get the common rail pressure checked..

As for leaking "O" rings, they just seal a joint in the main air pipe, so shouldn't really make much diff.. I think B&W must have had the whole pipe separate at that join or something..

I cant find Barwell on a map but I think BigRuss has the nearest T4 to you, he is a member here.

forgot to mention i had it on a snap on super plus (or something to that name) the other week and it came up with maf sensor (wich plugged or unplugged car runs the same)

air intake temp sesnor( was reading -39 degrees when outside temp was +2)

then something to do with fuel pressure sensor(is that fuel rail sensor?)

Nope, just one was split and the other way bigger than it should be. Wouldn't rev above 2500 or there abouts. It was the guys at a club meet 4 days after I bought the car that pointed out the problem when I described it to them. It had obviously been like that for a while before I got the car. New rings - no problem since.

Can't understand the opposition to looking at them. It's a 10min job to look at them THEN dismiss it as the problem. It may well not be them, but if it was me, I'd at least look before throwing £100's at something that may or may not solve the problem. If you know for FACT it's not them (rather than a hunch it's not), then fair enough.
