Only the inside light of your fridge will work on the 12v when parked, rather than the cooling.

Could you perhaps pull the fuses one at a time and check continuity with a meter?

I seem to remember that the control unit on the back of the heater also contains some more fuses.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

It is definitely a s3002 Harry, I have the operating manual for it, the auto igniter battery is locate4d behind the front cover, bottom right, doesn't have any troubleshooting tips though.

It doesn't have a light Harry, and it does work off battery, or gas or 230v.
No fuse on back of heater, just the main power unit in the cupboard, it has about 6 mini blade fuses, I will pull them individually, when I get a chance in daylight, at the weekend. The auto igniter would operate when pressed, without 12v supply, only the fan needed a 12v supply. The igniter uses 1x AA battery.

Yes, I missed the s off s3002. I have just checked my handbook, which covers several variations of the model and I cannot see any mention of a need to install a battery. It mentions piezo ignition and 12v battery spark ignition versions.

Well it definitely has one, what year is your van, it may have a different ignition system to mine which is a 2007. The s3002, was fitted from that year onwards apparently. My manual is purple coloured on the front, and English instructions are on page 9, which is a right hand page, battery ignition is covered in bottom paragraph, second column from outer edge of the page. Manual covers zs30902, s3002p,and s 5002, living flame model.

Mine is a 2004, heater was a standard fit and the instructions are a pdf file I downloaded. They cover Trumatic S 3002 P, S 3002, S 5002 ................, page 9 in the manual is the French instructions. They cover the full installation of the units, including flues.

I don't have the means to accept a photo on my mobile number. See how you make out checking fuses, then let me know.

On a forum, there was a very knowledgeable guy who fixed these things for a living and was gave his help quite freely, where could. If you are still stuck I will try to track him down for you.

Caravantalk was the one. I had a fall out with them over their undeclared commercialism. They deleted any posts which was at all critical of any of their commercial supporters.
