My old woman was driving so she can pay the fine officer, I thought after posting someone would mention this..... we was stopped at traffic lights (I can't even say I had the handbrake on) I know I was on private land officer LOL

Tom,

Sounds as if the panel light dimmer control has been tuned down a bit.

Its on the same panel as the main light switch and is the left hand of the two 'wheel' controls. The other one adjusts the headlight aim for when you have a full boot but only the driver on board.

Scoot your car is a 1.8 so engine loads from ancillaries will have a more pronounced effect than on the bigger engines

Less Torque stuff and all that
