It just missed the launch cars date by approx a month, I will get the VIN details later today, I mentioned this car in the 'launch car' thread (can't find the thread now - eyes not fully open) And like Lee said, the pics were taken in a bit of a rush, and George cannot hoover as well as some of us due to two false hips, but do not let that put anyone off, it does scrub up very well indeed.

Hi Andy and thanks for adding in the Vin. The car certainly has heritage and is a great example of an early model still running. You can see it has been well looked after. For the money and the work already carried, it is a fair price. Enthusiasts such as us would hope that a higher price could be realised. The no plate looks personalised. I could be wrong. Maybe the next owner can put an 'S' reg on it It is lovely to see the car on the forum.

My 1999 model also has a plate that some have assumed is a personal one. Interestingly the reg doc says "not transferable" which I assume means it cant be removed from the car.
Very nice car by the way. |

VIN number would be nice. One colour bumpers and crowns. DVLA should be able to tell what number it was issued on

This is a bargain price.
I used the launch brochure to add up what my T reg would have cost brand new and it was just shy of £31,000. It's a lot of car for very little money. |

Size matters?
Pics haven't come up on this pc - is it a 2.0 or 2.5? something tells me 99's would have been the 2.0? In which case has the HG been sorted? Sure others would want to know.
Thanks, Paul. |
