I think it's stopping raining and sleeting around 9am. Hopefully it won't get called off but I think it'll be tough going getting everyone on and eventually off the fields

Yeah I agree, just spent £25 having the metro fully valeted. Mrs190 will have my guts for garters if that car gets trashed and the zt is towing the caravan on Sunday so that can't get trashed either. No idea what to do. I might have an early morning drive and see what the grounds like.

Please see a copy of a post by eumjmorris in the POL weather thread.

latest forecast is sleet, 6am to 9am, and I believe from rumour elsewhere that they are seeking a hardstanding area nearby, perhaps the levelled site of the old East Works engine plant, opposite the park, where house building has yet only occupied a small part. Keep ears open for "facebook" updates, apparently.''

I also think parking on concrete / hardstanding is a good idea, hopefully this might be the back up plan the POL organisers have in place.
I would not think the ground conditions would improve much overnight as it is raining here in Trowbridge again.
I do not think parking in Cofton Park will be the best idea in view of the weather and the ground conditions that have already been mentioned.

Light snow until 9am and then sleet and showers from 10am. Mrs190 is looking at me as if to say she'll hate me if I drag her out in this lol
