Aye well I've wanted a manual diesel to complement the auto diesel for some time now so it will stay, so means I've manual v6 190, auto 2.5.177 75, manual 75 diesel and auto diesel tourer.
Good range of wagons for anyone, truthfully I've always wanted a 75 1.8t in black or copperleaf but would need to be a Connie SE. So maybe long term I might end up selling one for a 1.8t. Absolute heart breakers but I love them. Lol

Well she's not quite mot ready but 99% there now.
Need to do rear handbrake and also figure out why warning light isn't on when handbrake is. Lots of oem bits on her now and I can't remember everyone to thank, new mats, gear knob, and I gave interior Full valet as it was horrible. Springs and shocks all sorted out now, just need a set of cv boots but can do that closer to an mot date. Next up, tow bar, mg7 lights, xenons (if they don't swap for mk2 units) and that's it for now, get it through mot and start on what this car was always men to be for. A simple bolt on, low boost turbo solution that doesn't require the fuel pumps screaming out to get good power with a remap and a Ron box. Combined with a custom remap I look forward to end result but this will be what I do over winter in the shed and not before it. Aiming for close to 180 bhp and as much torque close to 300 foot pounds as we can. That for me takes the car as far as would be needed in any ones eyes.

That's very nice, well done, I hope the neighbour doesn't ask for it back.

Mot booked for end of September.
New in tank pump fitted, old one had fused but burnt out. On removal saw it was the wrong one so decent new one fitted now. Handbrake compensator fitted also, hate doing that job. I'd rather bleed the clutch fluid any day. Shall see what it needs, I've spent nothing on it as all parts from my big box of supplies and parts in already owned so we shall see.

Funny story. Got it refunded after it separated and lifted up with a replacement sent when I ordered a set for another car.
Can't beat that!
