No TV tuner John - just the HU, Nav Comp, GPS & Radio Receiver. Does it need the TV tuner to get the satnav and radio/cd changer working?

I will do a Check later to make sure, But.......
I think you do need the TV Tuner to get the Display on Screen. These go from about £95 upwards on EBay if you need one. (Hope you Don't). Last edited by JohnDotCom; 24th December 2007 at 16:02.. |

Simon if the harness you have has connectors for both the Nav unit (Blue Purple) and the TV Tuner (Blue White) then yes you will need the TV tuner or I believe a link cable is available to allow the tuner to be bypassed but I have never fitted one

Thanks Keith for Clarification.
Have been looking on BMW EPC and only Link cable that bypasses that is er.......£56.95 +VAT. Must be able to make one cheaper than that surely. |

I don't have a hi line harness Keith. Symphony is in the car at the moment with cd changer in glovebox.
