I think minimum wages are around £1.300 month less taxes. VAT is 25%.

It sounds like your tax man as a good sense of humor too. At those rates I bet he's positively hysterical

Default Cost when new

To all you lucky new 75 owners who are buying very fine cars
for a fraction of the new price. I know they have in the motor
trade jargon been "pre owned" but spare a thought for the
many of us who bought brand new.. I know I looked after my
previous 75s and sometimes I wish I could see them again and
talk to the new owners. To see how they are now being looked after..
Here is a picture of two of my previous 75s.. The one on the left is
a 1.8 Club auto Cowley built in 2000.Cost £15500..The one on right
a Connoisseur se 2.0cdt auto Hi line sat nav..Built at Longbridge in 2001 Cost £23550.. The picture was taken on changover day at
JCT 600 Wakefield..

My first 75 was an 03 plater with 12 miles on the clock. It was a sell to yourself and get sales figs up car. I paid £19000 after much haggeling. She was a Connoisseur Cdti with sunroof, cruise and 6 disk cd as extras. Royal Blue with Ash Grey interior.

Hi. I brought a 75 1.8 petrol conn 04 plate (face lift) from the company where my lads works for £5700 with a full years tax and service with 3,800 miles on the clock, last October. They paid £18,200 including all the extras. Touch wood no serious problems.
PS. It also had a new clutch fitted after 3,500 miles!!

Hi Grey Ghost
Your right they look the same car..but the one on the left
is a 75 Club in Arden Green. The one on the right is Connoisseur SE
in British Racing Green. .I took the picture because you do not often see
two cars with the same reg. Especially Rover 75's..
