I changed from a saloon to a tourer because we do a lot of camping here and abroad and it's everything you could ever need in a car . It's as handy as having pockets in your trousers !

Fingers crossed then. Is there an accessory socket in the back of the tourers?

Will be interested to know how the two compare, Phil. A bit late now, but couldn't you have run with the plate, and changed over at your leisure, even selling the private one to recoup costs?

not in mine either. My plate transfers have been anything from a couple of days to couple of weeks. If you buy a plate new on retention then it can be sorted on the spot. If you had kept the plate then put it on retention (£100 i think) and then sold it on to recoup some of your money

No, just in the arm rest, if fitted

Well, I have got it.
There were raised eyebrows. They did not remove the towbar as they agreed, just the ball. The bloke looked very embarrassed. The five hour valet they promised me looked more like a dustpan and rush job in the dark, they didn't sort out the srs lamp either, no petrol in the tank, despite promising to put some in. He has agreed to pay for a valet that I sort out and has said he'll pay me to remove the rest of the towbar myself. The car drives sooo differently to the saloon, it doesn't wallow at all and drives like it is on rails. It is a lot slower on hills than my old turbo 1.8, which I expected. It is also noisier. It has done about 120 miles on the first quarter tank so thats not bad either.

Good to hear your car is to your liking Also good to hear that they garage will recompense you for your own efforts to remove the towbar as well as a valet. Now all you need to do is make it nice and shiny for the weekend to show it off
