Minis didn't have foot operated washers but early ones had a headlamp dip switch on the floor, mine has, as well as the floor mounted starter button and the green light on the end of the indicator stalk.

And banded steel wheels. We all had them back in the day. Used to drop off our standard steel rims to Deals on Wheels at Romford, Essex where they'd get them cut and fitted with a band of steel to make them as wide as you wanted. Me and a mate had them on the rear of my MG Magnette and his Wolseley 16/60 along with the extended leaf spring shackles of course

That was simply to save the cost of relays, yet keep cable runs short.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Not a single relay in sight, in fact only two fuses in the fusebox, and probably difficult to have a long cable run in a car that's only 10 feet long!

How about polonium spark plugs? Lol

anti static strips that only served to make a scraping noise as you drove slowly.

or aerials fitted within the self adhesive sun visor - nearly always in green :s

Early mark 1 Fiestas had a foot operated rubber bulb for the washers.
