It will be good to see some well known faces again a and meet some new ones hopefully the carvery is great and I know the train will appeal to some of our members.
At the star i was asked was it the lido and was the old building still there this prompted me to look it up. It started as a reservoir for the London canals then acquired by the council as a Lido it had its ups and downs but now is clean enough for swimming and boating, the original building was demolished and the Carvery stands on its site here endeth the lesson

Just spotted this but as a good part of my journey involves the Heathrow stretch of the M25, it won't make any difference, probably get there faster on a bicycle.

Please waft along (75's) or roar along (MG ZT's)

Default M25 on Sunday morning

Alan,

The M25 will be fairly quiet on your way to J16, just drift left, loop round onto M40. Easy peasy from there. M25 on the way back to the A3 and Guildford may be a little heavy.

Nobby, added you to the list. Look forward to meeting you.

Peter.

Glad you can guarantee an easy journey up, didn't get one for the MK meet.

Good to see you again if you make it.

I reckon the train ride will appeal to your grandsons, but if not I bet they won't keep Granddad off the train!
