I forgot to mention another improvement I made earlier.

I remover the Barbara Dickson CD that was still in the CD player left by the previous owner.

thanks, one in day light,is it about 8 inches long the strip ?

Id say about 12" long. Im sure you can get them in different lengths.

Changed the roof rails to a nice silver to complement the chrome and silver wheels.

Next mod . . . removal of the XPower Grey mirrors and on with chrome mirrors.

Took the Shooting Brake to the garage for;

  1. Pagid discs and pads all round.
  2. New Top Strut Bearing.
  3. Welded the tailgate strut.

Now;

  1. The car stops as it should.
  2. No more knocking from the front end.
  3. I can open the tailgate without it falling on my head! (dam sore when it does)






All in exchange for £240 at the garage. (Discs and pads supplied by me)

XPower Grey coloured Steering wheel fitted today. It sits well with the Rhodium Dash.
