Here´s yer gearbox

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/rover-diesel-7...item27b0dd339c

If I was living in the UK I would be along with a trailer, then pick a similar gear box up and then spent my spare time this spring fitting it. Crazy price, that would buy you 2 leather interiors at the scrappys here

It would be a shame to see this broken but thats the way of life..

I know Corin and he would never normally break a good car but I know he is very busy at the moment and fixing it himself is not an option.

It's worth a lot more as parts.. so common sence states break it.

shame a member cannot get it for a fixer.. I'd have it in a heartbeat if I could spare the cash. It's exactly what I'm after.

I´m not too familular with the 2 boxes, out of the car. Suppose you´re right. But a auto box shouldn´t be too difficult to come by. And it might just be that the oil needs changing

Seems as though I´ve just been talked into buying a diesel from some bloke ringing me at home and giving me the heavy come on. And I thought I´d blocked all those telephone sellers.......

My middle name is Alan....

..but getting back on thread, that's a beautiful a car Corin, at a very good price!

I do speak as one who has a tourer in the same colour and interior, but 02, so not pre project drive unfortunately.

I think we should keep giving it a bump until it gets the buyer it deserves.

Cheers
Leander
