unfortunately not so the offside one, it had took too much of a bang around the rear light area, a donor 75 was relieved of about 7-8" of a rear quarter

Looking a lot better, just need the boot floor now and all will be good in the world (the world of broken 260's that is)
Wow, brilliant work there, hats off to you for taking this on!

I'm guessing the boot floor bit is V8 specific, can you get a repair panel for this or will it have to come from a scrapped V8 or even fabricated from scratch?

Keep up the excellent work!

Well after a 675 mile round trip to Southampton yesterday, I met up with John (75.0) The owner of number 5 (Yes it does look a lot better in the flesh and is coming along very nicely)

John's fine skills with his angle grinder saw the boot floor from the infamous 577 finding a new home in the back of my 75 (Well nearly all in the back)

Just want to say a huge thanks to John for letting me have the final piece of my puzzle, pleasure to meet you yesterday John, and yes, I was a bit tired by the time I got home.

Andy, I have to say that looks a little excessive to me, I'm sure you could have fitted a spare battery in the boot of your 75........
Pick out the spot welds carefully, I'm sure it'll look good in your V8

Andy,
Good luck with this project-you seem to be well fired up to get to the end, as is John with his.

All I can say to you both, is that I'm really pleased that people are around to save vehicles like this that most of us would have to give up through our own inabilities and I'm really frustrated at my own incompetence! I'm also pleased that John has been able to help you out:what this club is all about.

Don't get tempted by horse boxes!!

Regards

Kevin
