These are the 12 models and are perfectly fine as the ROM is very stream lined. I can get 13 models if required but they are a fair bit more in price for the same functionality.

The mini amp has separate controls front and rear volume so you can set it how you wish.

Thanks

I'm quite interested due to the high line system being quite dated now. I thought about using my old GSM iPad which was way too big. This is a nice plug and play solution.

I am very interested in this, but for the setup I'd want, I see two problems:

1) I'd really want to do away with the radio completely (and use DAB instead) but this would mean no CD player. From what I've read, getting an external CD/DVD drive to work with Android is a pain, so sot sure how I'd do this, even with an external unit stashed in the arm rest or glove compartment.

2) Still don't understand how as Vodaphone and Blackberry customer, voice calls/texts can be processed on the tablet.

Also, I assume the steering wheel buttons can somehow control the tablet in some form? Volume, station etc?

Thanks!

Hi

There is no CD function sorry, but you can plug in a flash driver or ext hdd into one of the usb ports and route the cable into the front arm rest.

There is an app on the tablet that can answer calls and receive texts via bluetooth. Just install the same app on your phone and synce between the two devices.

Im working on a solution to get the SWC to work, but you can buy a BT media controller that could sit on the dash or attach to the steering wheel like this one:

If keeping my existing stereo am I right in saying the tablet plugs into the Aux in socket?

As such the sound will be played via the stereo and my SWC will still function. Is that correct?

Yes mate that's correct. When I had my stereo in the SWC worked the same for volume and mode (switch between aux, cd, radio etc) the track select works but not for the tablet for obvious reasons lol
