So would I, complete with V8 power and rear-wheel drive. Body colour? As a fan of the Rover P5B Coupe it would have to be a dark blue, probably Royal Blue pearlescent with a Sandstone leather interior with complementary dark blue piping for the edges of the seats and the 'quarter-to-three' position on the steering wheel. Dark blue carpets too. 18-inch Vortex alloy wheels already look nice enough, thank you, so there is no need to put something else on instead.

To link in with the original question set - I would probably go for a 4.6-litre Rover V8 engine (i.e. derived from the original 3.5-litre unit and as used in the P38A generation Range Rover until late 2001) which I would commission Calloway to work on to improve its power output and breathing, before mating it up to ZF-derived automatic gearbox.

It does not sound very exciting in terms of power output, but it is a car I would still look forward to driving on high days and holidays.

I like the idea of a ZT coupe with that 2valve supercharged v8 we read about earlier then rubbing clarksons nose in it because then he'd have to say what the people missed out on. 700bhp ZT coupe. What competition would there be?

Easy, I'd drop an S62 from an e39 M5 in, 400bhp and a sound to die for...

That's a lot of money for carrying a battery in a car

That would be the last place I'd take them too, as their work is absolutely dreadful!

For me, I'd find a nice low mileage V8, pop it in a Jumbo and get it over to Chip Foose, to build me a convertible with a bored and stroked Modular V8 with a Kenne Bell on top!
