Sorry I did not get round to adding the photos you needed but here is a little tip to keep the finishers in good order as below. 1 2 You can also treat any other black on the rubber etc. 3 4 Makes water proof 5

Thanks Artic I’ll certainly follow your advice, they soon look very used unless protected.

Do you use these products on the roof rails and window rubbers etc.....? Some of the car specific ‘back to black’ only last a short time.

Hi John. Yes i first make sure the car is clean & dry always best to use these products on an overcast but warm day, i start with the shoe scuff go over all the black areas steady moving the bottle at a time. I let that dry off then i go over it with the shoe wax polish one section at a time, after 5 minutes i lightly buff the area up just like you would doing your shoes. I used it on both my Fl1 & FL2 1 2 3 4

Changing front door waist rail finisher on Rover 75
Hi all,
I found this post from Steve1966 which seems to correspond to what we are looking for but all photos are unavailable and I must admit it would be of great help with photos. We have purchased a new waist rail finisher from Rimmers to replace the original one damaged by vandals who tried to open my Rover 75 while we were on vacation. They did not manage though... ;-) Can anyone help us? We do not want to damage anything. |
