I was looking at the cat photo in HDR you posted on Flickr Jeff, also excellent. I would like to try a different effect with it?

Good to hear things are looking brighter Phil.

I have no experience of Olympus cameras but some of their models get great reviews (as do Fuji and Panasonic) So many to choose from. You can get micro four thirds, aps-c, and full frame mirror-less all with small bodies and all doing a good job.

I will most likely stick with Sony because in the future I may well end up with a full frame and aps-c body and I will be able to use same lenses on both.

I saw this Hummingbird hawk moth, grabbed camera and this was the best I got. First one of these I have a pic of. It just hovered and darted all over the bush feeding - never landed.

Thanks for getting back Paul. Even with a discount, the A6500 costs £960, body only, so I have decided to look at some cheaper brands. It make sense for you to stick with Sony, given the gear you have built up. The downside of Olympus is their sensor is not as big as Sony in terms of MP, but Oly claims this is compensated by the processing engine. I am just biding my time looking for the right deal

Yesterday I moved about 10 tonnes of horse err waste.

Here are some of the culprits. The slight speckles in the background is rain.
