Very easy cure for the boot release going click click click
Turn the rubber stops (on either corner of the boot) out between half and 1.5 turns as required (they have a habit of screwing themselves in!) Permanent cure is to glue them in place once they have been adjusted. It's a play off between opening correctly and boot alignment flush with the rear wings

Rover 75 Bonnet stuck
The bonnet release has broken, even using molegrips on the cable will not budge. Is there any way to release the bonnet manually? Thank you in anticipation of assistance, cheers, tuxley

I think if you PM a MOD he will tell how to get it open, not for publication on open forum.

Unable to open the bonnet on my Rover 75
The bonnet of my car will not release. One side releases but not the other; I have tried pushing the bonnet up and down etc but it will not budge. Having read the posts re this topic I understand that the solution I need is only available via a PM so please can a moderator PM me with the solution.
Many thanks, Duncan. |
