I have reviewed this situation again, and it is clear that members self policing themselves with regard to what they post on other peoples cars for sale threads is proving counter productive to any advert being listed, and so as a result, from now on Only Red subscribed members, Club 'Staff', and Traders can start threads in the Members Cars For Sale Section (same as usual), however only the OP is allowed to post replies to his or her own thread now.

If you are a Light Blue registered user, or Red Subscribed user and you wish to make an offer or ask a question about the car being sold, you will need to send a Private Message to the seller and the OP should then update as necessary their own thread accordingly if the car is sold or he/she wants to update, or 'Bump' the for sale listing up to the top of the list once more.

We will see how this works out in the short term and review it again in due course should it prove necessary.
