'The lone tree'
Hi guys
I've not been very active lately so apologies. Hope everyone is doing well. Feeling a tad better now. A week past Saturday, I made a last minute decision to drive the 90 minutes to Milarrochy Bay, Loch Lomond to take a picture of this tree. I have seen many pictures of it in the past by other photographers and I wanted to take a shot myself. Things were getting hectic in the house and I needed to get out. Chucked my camera into my bag and literally just jumped in the car and drove. I made it in time just for sunset. I tried a couple of compositions but this one worked best for me, I think. I read it is actually the most phographed tree in the country... Before I headed, I had a black and white image in my head. But when I saw the colours, that changed.... I think a long exposure worked well here. I have also decided to make prints of this. I hope you enjoy. Many thanks.
