EP fault light - VIS motor

Just by way of an update really as it may help someone else.

I had a "EP" fault come up on the dash and my auto box wouldn't change gear, I expected a gearbox fault but it turned out to be a faulty balance VIS. I ended up changing both VIS motors, power one was a mistake (won't hurt except my wallet).
So before taking gearboxes apart look into these. The strange thing is they were faulty a couple of years ago before Stocktake refurbed for me but never showed up a fault.

EP normally comes up due to comma error....

Try a battery reset. Check the plenum etc for water or get a tT4session...
