Steven! just wouldn't have believed it.

Have you got security camera's set up around your place of work, if so! was the incident captured (best get the film). You may get trouble with the van company (they may change their minds down-the-line).

My old classic Ferrari Red FORD CAPRI with full body-kit, which I spent years working on. It was also parked outside my place of work and the same thing happened, but it was a 40ft Lorry that drove into it.

Get that film evidence and take photo's of where your car was parked, was there any tyre tread marks on the tarmac where your car was pushed (dragged), take pics.

Well it's all being handled by the companies insurance company. They have agreed to pay all costs and give me a hire car while it's being fixed.

The quote for the damage £750.

Thats a new bumper, chrome, paint and labour.

Luckily it's all been agreed and going ahead.

Good that the company has been OK but I would still notify the Police as he fled the scene of an accident = illegal

I think it's come off OK in reality..
check the drive shafts ,mine is making a noise now since being hit by the lorry and like yours pushed back 10/12 feet and then it was dragged side ways ..

Thursday I parked in an empty car park apart from a single transit pickup. I was sitting in my car when he backed out and into the rear of my car. Then he started to drive off but was blocked by a car pulling in. His response was how do I know I did that? We inspected his pick up and found my black paint on his truck. He said he did not see me but has agreed to pay. Over £200 I hope he pays up. car goes in next week.
