As you know we chat about anything in the lounge except for politics and religion. Aeroplanes makes a nice change. When I worked in MediVacs doing air ambulance flights, not all air ambulances were citations or lears, some of the turboprops were not pressurised to fly above 10,000 feet. On several occasions flying over the alps, the pilot would say ….”You might feel breathless for a while” How are you?
Hi Phil. I'm ok atm and hope that you and your good lady are doing likewise. Kenyatta like Tambo is up a bit of a height but your destination at Cape Town not so much. The person I mentioned in our last pm's lived just down the road in continental terms from Cape Town, Fish Hoeke I think it was. Will likely have flown to George from Cape Town, sadly never to return. Boeing's 777X will benefit from a lower cabin altitude with higher humidity too but its fuselage won't be composite like the 787. My mention of Brooklands in relation to a motorsport-themed post was in part because it is the historical home of British motorsport. But I merely mention it in explanation as I don't think that Jeff posted to offend and I have not taken any offence. As for my subsequent drift into aviation I blame the historical home of British aviation.

I am innocent ...innocence personified is I.

No offence intended, hence me saying it was nevertheless interesting. The post that Phil popped up of us was a reminder of our much missed Derek so I didn't get your reply at first. Also, as you mentioned Brooklands and that photo was Brands Hatch I was slightly puzzled and didn't follow the connection .....and that doesn't take much for me

Morning everyone.

It's been chucking it down here too. I think I'll offer our garden to Andy for his next scuba holiday . Sorry to hear about the diver that died. Take care out there mate.

The squirrels have "found" our bird feeders and are doing a very effective job of (a) emptying them and (b) destroying them. They do, however, give Quizzie some "out of the door" sprint training . She loathes them. Pretty much everything else she loves and wants to say hello to but squirrels are a whole different reaction.

Enjoy yourselves.

Andy.
