I'm kind of thinking it may be a two day event with a jolly boys stay at a Hotel sort of thing!
Good old nights drinking at the Hotel bar followed by a full English in the Morning sounds fun

Depending on where you fancy staying ,the meet will take place t the actual border viewpoint.then on to Jesburgh cafe afterwards, there are Premier Inns at Edindurgh 40 miles North, or at Newcastle airport, which is about 10 mins from me. The airport hotels are directly on the route to Carter Bar,so for those of you wanting to stay over,I think these would be more suitable for you. £19 per night if you book and pay in advance,or £53 if you pay on the day of arrival.
At the mo, I'm looking at Sunday 17th March.

Morning Richard,
Might be useful to know what Hotels are in the vicinity so that would be great.
Do you have any idea on dates in March yet because that will be clincher for me with work commitments and Motor racing timetables
