2003 75 Tourer 2.0 CDTi £200 *Weighed in*
Well, we'd sort of forgotten that this existed, so it's time for it to leave.
It's a 2003, 53 plate Rover 75 Tourer 2.0 CDTi Classic SE manual, in Starlight Silver. Exciting features include a towbar, and a CD player. Really is the lap of luxury. Unfortunately, it's been about a bit, and thus is cosmetically challenged. Still drives fine, and stops. Comes with four Contour alloy wheels (don't get too excited), and is really just a complete car. Has done 170,000 miles. Underside is sound, because I've had it up on ramps. It's really quite scruffy, as I say, but was bought with an MOT, and simply hasn't been re-MOT'd due to a lack of time, and fleet size. Not really a car for an enthusiast, unless patina is really your bag. If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it as a donor for my other Tourer, but, since it starts, and it's a diesel, I thought I'd give the forum a chance to have it. Just £250, but not open to offers at all, as that's what it owes us. Have V5. Photos to follow, when the rain stops. Rain stopped. I took photos. Or, if you really like Starlight Silver Tourers, I can throw in a 115,000 mile diesel auto, which is currently a non-runner, but has got nice PPD carpets, etc. I'd be after £675 for the pair.

I'd love to take this off your hands as a donor car but unfortunately have no way of collecting it if it's not roadworthy
It'd be worth it for the CD, towbar and tailgate (if it's not dented) for my tourer. |

You could pre-book an MOT, and drive it, I believe? I've never tried this myself, however.

Yes, as long as it's pre booked, and your driving in that direction (ie homewards to your local garage) you can. It's a bit of an issue on distance but the law doesn't specify a garage close to where the car is, or you live

I've done that in the past but I suspect you might get a telling off if you get caught driving more than a few miles. I might have done about 30 miles once but I had excuses lined up!
You do of course still need to be fully insured. |

Yes that would be a bit of a problem for me as I'm a couple of hundred miles away

Alanjay drove a ZT for me 525 miles on a pre booked MOT. So long as you've pre booked it with time a phone number etc there's nothing they can say so long as its "your" nearest station to your home.
