Default ZT Wheel Sizes

Did the alloy wheels on ZT's come in 17" and 18"? I've seen straights and 11 spokes on ebay recently and both sellers are adamant they are 17". I wasn't aware they existed???

Cheers,
Rich

Some wheel designs were fitted to the ZR / ZS - i.e. for the ZR you can get 16" hairpins.

They are 4-stud so thats the easy way to spot them...

The only MG 17" wheel was the "Mirage", chunky 5 spoke... everything else was 18".

Cool

There are two 17" wheels as the 120 had a different wheel after the facelift. Pre-facelift had much thinner spokes.

However many eBay sellers advertise wheels as fitting ZR/ZS/ZT because they have a ZR and they just assume they will fit the ZT. I reckon anything that lists all three won't fit a ZT. And as above, if it hasn't got five spokes (Straights, Hairpins or Grid) and it is not 18" then they won't fit.

There was also a ZT 17", similar to Straights style, which I think was only sold in Europe. Can be seen on the Partex Wheels Ebay listings.

Cool

I cannot see the stud pattern on the Straights but the 11-spokes are definitely ZT wheels - 5 nuts.

I think it is possible that they are 18 inch wheels that have been described incorrectly.
