Reversing light

Hi all, I've noticed an issue with my reverse lights on my 190. Sometimes they both work, sometimes just one, and sometimes none. I get no indication on the dash as I would normally if a bulb has gone, so does a time know if there's a common fault that could cause this or is it time to do a bit of digging around?

Reversing,wing indicators, & number plate lights don't show on ipk when blown

number plate lights do when both are blown
would have thought the others would as well...?
