The problem with mice is they urinate everywhere and are very good climbers. OK if you only use the garage to store the car but not if you use it as a workshop etc. |

My problem is that I am one of the very few people who have not blocked paved or astro turfed my front garden, and every day I have to remove a poo or two or three from my front lawn, but what makes it worse is they way the cats scratch the lawn up after they have finished their poo !

We have quite a largish garden and encourage the wildlife, Green Finches, Gold Finches, Blue, Great and Long tail (Really?), a Sparrow hawk even. Numerous frogs now in the pond we put in last year, ducks, Rooks, Magpies and more hedge sparrows then we've seen in a long time. We have regular hedgehog visits at night, 6+. We've recently bought a wildlife camera which we've set up to video the hoggies, vicious little things the males can be bless 'em. At times we get the garden mouse come along and nick their food, thankfully the neighbour's cat just walks on past but it has a good search. We had a Red Tailed Kite over the weekend and a number of Buzzards. Oh and Ospreys, Eagles and Falcons. But they are from Lakenheath RAF base. Love me wildlife. If I could be bothered to work out how to post the piccies up I would. |

I feed everything in the garden, so far the peppermint oil is distracting the mice from the cars, one has made a nest in the garage inside the drawer that holds my clutch master top up syringe! The smell of dot4 obviously doesn’t bother it.

If you wet the plates you'll short out the trap and maybe blow some fuses.-- You can quite safely touch both terminals of your car battery at the same time. It has enough power to turn your engine over but is harmless as it's only 12 volts pressure. |

That is because the current through the body is so low because of the resistance of the body unlike when you are starting the car as it is almost a short circuit and their are 100s of amps of current. It is Ohms Law. I = V/R |
