Fair play to you Colin maybe we could organise a whip round to help with your project.
Youve had some bad luck and yet you keep going.

Wouldn't a penny mate. I've signed on now so as far as I'm concerned that's only money I deserve until I find a job.

Car started today. Had blown a mega fuse.

Had the wrong wire as an earth and wrong wire to mega fuse.

Booked mot for late September

Just gotta run her to temps now to check for leaks, bleed clutch and everything else has been done for mot as I've been going alone so waiting game now.

I thought I'd share this with everyone.

In this 2 min video I managed to strip down an entire v6 engine ready for removal bar the drives hats.

https://youtu.be/jqpOxTIveyw

I had planned to time-lapse the entire thing, removal, refitting etc but I crupted my phone memory and lost all of it bar this initial "disconnect" section.

Was lapsed at a speed of 15 seconds to each second.

Well the never ending saga continues.

Thermostat blew on me coming home from National owners day on 31st.

So has been parked up since, and shall be starting into it tomorrow.

Name of god, beyond a joke.

Well that turned into a cluster!!!

Thermostat has shattered in three places on "the pipe" part and the main unit had fractured also.

Clean nightmare getting it out of the recessed hole. Fitted at last with my new unit which was in old engine less than 6 months, first time I've ever gotten one out without damaging it. Was over the moon as didn't cost me a penny.

Local mg dealer wants £170 plus vat to do the same job. Cost me £0.00
