Default Microphone

Generally, a nice unit with bugs but this is expected.

The inbuilt microphone, it's atrocious, NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- awful. Actually, I'm wrong, it's not that good.
I have my quality external mic all wired in but I really can't find a way of getting the unit to use it. It still insists on using the one that convinces people I'm swimming under water.

And what century was the word bl**dy such a crime??? Frequently used on Radio Four which is the last defender of the great language of this Sceptred Isle.

Does anyones unit not dim the screen brightness when the lights are turned on? I have to turn the screen off at night as it is quite dazzling. The buttons light up so the wiring is correct.

Default DVR question

I have my DVR connected to a USB stick.

How do I get the files to over write themselves so that I don't run out of memory space?

I have probs getting the digital TV to work, I get the settings on the screen but it's not touch comparable so can't tune or search etc, I have the digital tuner from my Navall 3 fitted to the star, it worked OK on the 3.
Anybody able to give me some pointers. Thanks.

Bluetooth has now randomly started crashing out when playing music... sometimes needing a full restart of the unit to re-connect.

Thats annoying.

I'm afraid I've drawn a blank with that one as well.

Have been in to the factory settings and tried changing the dvb unit in there but to no avail...

I have spoken to Sean about it some time ago and he was speaking to the factory.
I'm not sure if a solution was forthcoming so maybe worth giving Sean a shout to find out
