You are right it was burnt down and only the outer walls of the main house remain, the National Trust have decided not to rebuild it, to leave it as is.
It has great grounds and gardens which is where the show takes place, google Clandon House it tells you all about it...

Default Information about Clandon House

Some good news, although it will not effect the Classic Car Show, on last nights 6 o/clock news they said they are going to spend £30 million on renovating Clandon House and restore it back to it original glory after being completely destroyed by fire. A lot of the artefacts were saved and it was thought they were worthy of re displaying them buy restoring the lovely house.

I think that is great news I am a big believer in keeping these old properties as they are part of our heritage

I agree and am a member of the National Trust, visited Clandon House with my wife before the blaze....lovely place and very interesting with the Maori meeting house in the gardens....would be fantastic to see the house back to its former glory.

I think you should reconsider and put your car forward to be exhibited I would like to show as many nice and well-kept cars as possible and yes` yours defiantly falls into that category.

Hopefully see you before then at one of the meetings...
