Default V8's on LPG

Hi guys. Few questions relating to the V8's.

is there many lpg'd 260's out there?

Have any owners had the conversion done, how much did it cost.

There are a few, usually costs £2-2,500 depending on the quality of the kit.

What do you get a tank full? And the cost to fill.

Greeners car has a 90 litre tank and from empty will take 74 litres (regulations require 20% expansion) and in day to day driving gets around 250 miles from a tank, on a run up to about 300.
It will depend on how heavy your foot is though!!!

As Ken says.......(well he should know, he's put more gas in it then me !!!)

I've got an app. on the iPhone.....it works out at 18mpg at 65.9p per litre.

It costs no more to run then my ZT CDTi Auto

that's what I get out of a tankfull of petrol the mpg is about the same. Clearly the advantage of LPG is around half the cost of petrol. The downside it the large tank takes up an awful lot of room either in the boot or in my case behind the back seat removing any advantage on having the tourer (ZTT) so not for me

Engine warning light stays on with lpg, codes point to faulty lamda sensor which I have changed, light still on! gas experts say not to worry. The car has now covered 33000 miles but less than 1000 miles in my ownership.
