Hi
It’s nice to see my “how to “ on the rear suspension is still being looked at. A word of encouragement, you don’t really need a workshop to carry out this work. Even though I have two good sized garages, I did all this work on my driveway and removal of the suspension can be carried out with a regular set of tools. One thing is to be safe when working under the car. Rather than use metal axle stands I prefer to use wooden batons to build up the car to a decent working height. I used off cuts from roofing / flooring joists and still use the same blocks today when servicing my Mercedes. Good luck anyway with the work. |
