That damn clutch !!
Hi again,
After 2 lovely days back on the road after solving my power loss problem on my 04 Cdti the damn clutch went. I know from reading the threads it's a common fault and a recurring theme but is there a definitive answer as to the best replacement parts for the slave and master. I'm confused by the varying opinions re Tazu Mk1 and 2, OEM and suppliers, not to mention the choice re pipework or is there anyone local (ish) on the forum who can do the job. The car is currently stranded in Bolton. My mechanic could do the job but I need to get the right ( and the longest lasting parts )and get it back to Bacup somehow or get it to a nearby "expert". Any help and suggestions much appreciated once again. |

Looks like the Tazu is out of favour these days then ? I've bitten the bullet and got Andy Willi on the job. Doesn't seem much point struggling myself when there's an expert who's done the job hundreds of times before and will travel. This had better be the last big job this year tho ! I love this car but it's crippling my bank balance !
