Default New MG/Rover Walnut Facia

Post from AVON, as he is unable to post pictures.

"I have just received the first Walnut Fascia from Bulgaria for this Chinese radio and can confirm the quality is up to Simon’s usual very high standard. Please see photo’s. It looks better in the flesh.

Unfortunately, I can’t provide a photograph of it fitted in my rover as the day after proceeding with installation. I snapped my Achilles tendon playing squash and with my leg in plaster my mobility is limited and I am unable to complete the fitting. Very frustrating as having decided to buy one these units following Pickys posts last year I saved up the dosh and waited for RDS availability I was really looking forward to fitting and using.

The head unit, rear camera kit, new walnut fascia and immanent delivery of a DVB-T unit from Sean will all have to gather dust for at least another 4 weeks. On the plus side I have found it very interesting following other members helpful advice overcoming set up problems. Some very cleaver members out there.

With regard to the walnut fascia I asked Simon if he could make up a kit. This gives the option of just covering the side switches or a full covering. Simon has added to this with some very neat pieces for the switches. He said, that producing cut outs for the fascia lettering and arrows proved to difficult. I hope this helps.

Simon can be contacted via email in Bulgaria [email protected]

Regards
Nigel"

I am now posting AVON's Pictures:-

I must say I know what I am buying next!!!!
